too much to do tonight, so only time for a roller session. scampered up from station, on with bibs and into the roller room.
was planning on watching a sunday in hell (again), but think i've lent it out as part of an outreach programme. only bike related dvd i could see was restless natives, a classic scottish film of the mid-1980. on with the dvd, onto the rollers, on with the big country soundtrack. braw.
next up is three days living in a forest, helping out with the specialized/giant demo at carron valley. taking two bikes to ensure that i can ride everyday, no matter what those fcking dropouts on the voodoo, er, do.

Only a hamfisted monkey would have any problem with the voodoo dropouts :)
i've tried, i really have. but i'm on my 2nd sent of £45 dropouts and bolts are at creaking level to keep them from shifting. fear is that something needs adjustment in the arse end of beyond and i strip the bastarding things and have to walk out.
new frame with track ends and slotted disk mounts to be sorted shortly...

The way our share price is going, your choices may be limited to Something cheap and something **really** cheap. You can't get a Spot, seeing as both Jac and I have one now. ;-)
Simon - I've seen Marty's bike in action and lets just say that I'd have been infinitely more fucked off than he appeared after so many re-adjustments in the space of a 2 1/2 hour ride.
I've had no issues like with with my Kona and it's a similar set up.
ive been thinking about that again. use a bigger cog front and rear. may change the peak force applied to rear wheel ....

I'm toying with getting rid of my Rig frame, spookily enough...
Alas, it's a geared one (run as SS with a tensioner)
