i was going to write about my adventures in drop scone making, but found out today that i have a fair chance of being made redundant along with up to 125 of my colleagues (out of 600 in my division) in a restructure.

I like how your version differs from the "official" version on the company extranet. Ties in with what I heard today in differing from the "official".....

It seems a lot of the bigger companies are gearing up for redundancies before the end of the financial year. I assume it makes next years figures look better in advance.

My worry is that they're working their way down the floors from top to bottom and they've now reached the 1st floor.
My sanctuary in a quiet corner of the ground floor is developing an atmosphere of nervousness....encouraged by working in a team where half of them were redundees from another pensions provider and feel they can see the signs....
